Diabetiq Privacy Policy

Last Updated: December 2025

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This may include:

The Application does not gather precise information about your device location.

Data Ownership and Storage

Diabetiq is designed as a "Local First" application. All health-related data, including blood glucose levels, hemoglobin records, and personal profile information (name, date of birth), is stored exclusively on your device's internal storage. We do not maintain any cloud servers, and we cannot access, read, or share your medical data.

Data Loss

Because your data is not synced to a cloud service, your records are only as safe as your device. If you uninstall the app, clear the app data, or lose your device, your recorded data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by the developer.

Third Party Access & Google Analytics

To improve the performance of Diabetiq, we use Google Analytics. This service collects anonymized usage data (e.g., which buttons are clicked, device model, app crashes). This data is strictly non-identifiable and never includes your health records or personal identity.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application. Third-party service providers have their own Privacy Policies:

Information Provided by Users

For a better experience, the Application may require certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to First name, Date of birth, Gender, and Diabetes Type. This information is retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention & Opt-Out

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. To request deletion of your data, contact us at tim@timlb.eu.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If a child under 13 provides personal information, it will be deleted immediately. Parents or guardians should contact tim@timlb.eu if they are aware of such collection.

Security

The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information processed and maintained.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Application constitutes consent to the updated policy. The policy is effective as of December 25, 2025.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
